01 Purpose
Big Bull Technologies, LLC (“Big Bull Technologies,” “BBT,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) performs routine maintenance and software updates to help ensure the continued security, reliability, and performance of Before the Call (“B4C”).
This Maintenance & Updates Policy explains how maintenance activities are planned, communicated, and performed.
02 Our Philosophy
Routine maintenance is an essential part of operating secure, reliable software. Maintenance allows us to:
- Improve platform stability
- Enhance security
- Correct software defects
- Improve performance
- Introduce new functionality
- Maintain compatibility with supported technologies
Whenever practical, maintenance is planned to minimize disruption to Customers.
03 Types of Maintenance
Routine Maintenance
Regular platform improvements that generally have minimal customer impact.
Planned Maintenance
Scheduled work that may temporarily affect portions of the platform.
Emergency Maintenance
Immediate work necessary to:
- Protect Customer Data
- Address security vulnerabilities
- Restore platform availability
- Resolve critical defects
Emergency maintenance may occur without advance notice when reasonably necessary.
04 Software Updates
Software updates may include:
- Security improvements
- Performance enhancements
- Bug fixes
- Infrastructure updates
- User experience improvements
- Mobile application updates
- Administrative Intelligence enhancements
- Third-party dependency updates
Updates may be deployed incrementally or as part of larger platform releases.
05 Customer Notification
When practical, Big Bull Technologies may notify Customers of significant planned maintenance through:
- Platform notifications
- Release notes
- Website announcements
- Status pages (when available)
Minor updates that do not materially affect platform availability may be deployed without advance notification.
06 Customer Responsibilities
Customers are encouraged to:
- Install application updates promptly
- Keep supported operating systems current
- Review release notes
- Report unexpected behavior
- Maintain current contact information for administrative notifications
Using supported software versions helps ensure the best security and user experience.
07 Emergency Updates
Certain updates cannot be delayed. Examples include:
- Critical security vulnerabilities
- Infrastructure failures
- Authentication issues
- Data protection concerns
- Platform stability issues
Emergency updates may be deployed immediately to protect Customers and the Services.
08 Continuous Improvement
Maintenance activities support the ongoing improvement of Before the Call. Big Bull Technologies continually evaluates opportunities to improve:
- Reliability
- Security
- Performance
- Accessibility
- Administrative workflows
- Mobile experience
- Customer satisfaction
